Wild Medix
Overview
Wild Medix is a medical training and standby company based in the Western Cape, Wild Medix offers both wilderness and urban first aid training and standby services but specializes in the wilderness aspect of both fields.
The task was to build a website for Wild Medix that would attract new clientele as well as keep existing clientele up to date with news and events. The goal of this new website was specifically to expand the existing online presence of the company and increase lead generation for new courses and standby assignments. Specific focus was given to increasing the company's ranking in local search engine queries.
Responsibilities
Hit Delete was responsible for the entire project, including front end design, XHTML and CSS coding, PHP programming, content management system integration, newsletter management integration, newsletter mailer design and statistics management integration.
Branding
Wild Medix is founded and staffed by medical professionals who are also experienced wilderness adventurers - the brand embodies their medical and corporate professionalism in all situations. The Wild Medix logo is a traditional star of life with an alpine walking axe as the central feature. The walking axe exemplifies the companies wilderness specialization while the traditional star of life produces feelings of safety and medical professionalism.
The website design embodies the brand strategy of Wild Medix and balances a wilderness feel with a professional and clean design.
Strategic Challenges
Wild Medix is both a wilderness and urban medical training and standby company; the website had to communicate the wilderness specialization and focus of the company without alienating potential customers seeking an urban first aid course or medical standby.
Hit Delete completely redesigned the Wild Medix website and optimised it for search engine positioning. Since its redesign the website has generated many more enquiries and bookings and for many search keywords the site ranks on the first page of Google.
