Pear Hosting
Overview
Pear Hosting is a specialized hosting company that provides custom hosting solutions for a select group of websites.
The task was to build a simple yet informative one page website that would provide potential clients with only the most essential hosting information. Due to the specialized nature and small client base of the company, a contact form, online registration and billing system were all deemed as unnecessary.
Responsibilities
Hit Delete was responsible for the design, XHTML and CSS coding of the website.
Brand Identity
Hosting clients are most concerned with reliability, consistency and performance. The Pear Hosting brand embodies these core client concerns, but does so in a manner that sets it apart from most other South African hosting companies. The Pear Hosting logo embodies its unique approach to the industry and creates a feeling of fun and freshness without compromising professionalism.
The original logo design was done by Brand Empire. Hit Delete added three additional versions to represent the companies hosting respective hosting packages.
The website design effectively captures the companies brand identity, balancing a modern web 2.0 design with effective content delivery.
